The making of our cover for the 'Home' edition: A paper Sculptor's Tale

"My favourite medium is matte pastel paper," says set designer Lou Blackshaw, who created the paper shell on our cover. "Paper is so versatile and organic to work with. I wanted to reflect the lightness and delicacy of a real shell, so I crafted the whole piece from one 150gsm sheet of A2, scoring and bending it on alternate sides and pulling it into its spiral shape to create a one-off piece."
